Relief
Principle:407. Things cannot remain in hardship without end. Thus, after Hardship, Relief follows.
<Significance of the Gua>
400. There are two good ways after you get relieved from the hardships and see the plain way to go forward. If there is somewhere to go, acting immediately will bring good fortune. On the other hand, if there is nowhere to go, returning will be propitious.
<Significance of the Yao>
First Six:401. There is no problem to proceed forward since your hardship begins to find relief.
Second Nine:402. With the support of the big person you have been looking up as your master, you are firm and strong enough to be able to banish the three sly little fellows who try to trap the master into hardship. There brings good fortune if you remain steadfast and upright to the end.
Third Six:403. If you are indulged in the relief from hardship, the situation will become like a robber is tempted to steal into the showy and ill-matched big house built by a sly little fellow. It's shameful no matter how you are steadfast and upright.
Fourth Nine:404. In order to relieve current hardship, you should cut off the unhappy relations decisively with the younger petty person. Then, the good and same kind of friend will come forward and help you.
Fifth Six:405. There will bring good fortune if you, a brilliant and wise leader, appoint the promising and capable younger person to a commander in chief and banish the sly little fellows to relieve from hardships. They will also trust you in the end.
Top Six:406. The most dangerous one is a sly liitle fellow in the high rank where your hands are not able to reach easily. Nothing is unfavorable since a brilliant and wise leader is engaged in banishing him.
