Significance of the Gua & Yao

＜Sequence of the Gua（The Ninth Wing of the Commentary）＞：
Little Exceeding
Principle：627. When people have sincerity and trustworthiness, surely they will carry it into practice. Thus, after Innermost Sincerity, Little Exceeding follows.
＜Significance of the Gua＞：
620. Generally, insufficiency is better than excess; under eating is better than overeating, for instance. You need to be steadfast and upright to acomplish little affairs; then little affair would accumulate and become great. If you try to soar too high all the time, like a bird, there will be misfortune.
＜Significance of the Yao＞：
First Six：621. You seem to be too weak to try to reach what is beyond your grasp at this moment, which means beyond little exceeding. If one does not practice restraint, there will be misfortune.
Second Six：622. It's often very difficult to make the top executive understood by just reporting what you usually want to realize. Even if you are not able to reach the top you want to see or say, you still get the help you need from his subordinate executive.
Third Nine：623. Even though you march forward courageously to the top executive with some good idea, he is too weak to adopt, so you should not go forward, stop approaching him. You should take extra precautions because you might get harmed by the middle person between you and the top executive.
Fourth Nine：624. You seem to be firm and gentle and don't overdo things usually when you meet your subordinates, so there should be no fault. But, you must be on the alert to the adversity when you go forward up front. Please remain steadfast and upright and never be overconfident on yourself.
Fifth Six：625. You seem to be at the too high position to be in harmony with people below. Even though you are gentle and magnanimous and want to do something for your people, you are not likely to able to do what you want because time is not ripe yet. It's better to find the ones who are competent and talented and extend you complete support.
Top Six：626. You seem to fly too high, like a bird, without knowing of yourself to reach what is beyond your grasp. You need more restraint and self-knowledg, otherwise there will be misfortune so called man-made calamity.
