<Sequence of the Gua(The Ninth Wing of the Commentary)>
Great Exceeding
Principle:287. Without nourishing it is impossible to take extraordinary action. Thus, after Nourishing, Great Exceeding follows.
<Significance of the Gua>
280. You are in the situation of extremely out of balance due to going beyond too much. Such an extraordinary situation requires an extraordinary action, which is not an easy task. You should be extremely cautious, adjusting between the strong and the weak, the excessive and the deficient.
<Significance of the Yao>
First Six:281. A careful preparation appears to be done for an important person (or thing). There will be no fault since you think of the extraordinary situation even though it might be said doing too much from others point of view.
Second Nine:282. With being old enough, you seem to be as energetic as to marry with a young wife. It's not bad if happily helping each other even though this seems to be extraordinary situation at a glance.
Third Nine:283. You seem to be too rigid and self-willed to be helped by anybody for a moment. Misfortune. Please overcome this extraordinary difficult situation with paying as much careful attention as possible.
Fourth Nine:284. With well balanced between the strong and the weak, the excessive and the deficient, you are able to carry a heavy burden. Good fortune. However, if you rely on young subordinate in taking action, there brings humiliation.
Fifth Nine:285. You seem to be in the situation that a old man who has already passed the prime time is marrying a senior woman, not a younger one. This union is as unusual as a withered willow producing flower, which will not last for long. There is no fault, yet no praise
Top Six:286. Owing to a short of carrying a heavy burden, you seem to be overreacting like getting you in water over your head. There is danger. However, if this overreacting is necessary and can handle with caution, there will be no ground for blame.
