＜Sequence of the Gua（The Ninth Wing of the Commentary）＞：
Falling Away
Principle：237. When adornment becomes excessive, beauty comes to an end. Thus, after Adorning comes Falling Away.
＜Significance of the Gua＞：
230. Falling away starts whenever the richness, achievment or culture go too far, which is inevitable in the east and west history of all ages. It's important for you to ascertain firmly the base that you stand on when the symptom is seen. Misfortunes approach in such a situation.
＜Significance of the Yao＞：
First Six：231. You seem to be in the situation that decaying starts gradually at the bottom and damages the foundation. Misfortune is coming.
Second Six：232. You seem to be in the situation that evil forces which started at the bottom are growing gradually and steadily. If not stopped immediately, they become stronger. Misfortune.
Third Six：233. You can refuse to go along with evil persons grown much stronger and cut off the relationship with them. There will be no fault and able to escape from the dangerous situation if you take a counter-measure with the cooperation of the wise senior person.
Fourth Six：234. The evil forces have spreaded in the entire company and the situation is almost worst. There will be misfortune. However, you might be able to escape from the crisis if taking a proper counter-measure bravely.
Fifth Six：235. The evil forces no longer cause decay to the upright. On the contrary, they approach and show their submissiveness to you. After darkness comes dawn, nothing is unfavorable.
Top Nine：236. There is only uneaten fruit, bearing the seed of new life in the end of falling away. The fruit is just like Katu, Kaisyuu or Yamaoka, Tesyuu in the end of edo era, or Churchill in Britain of the second great war. If one's virtue of this situation is high, then bright future is coming for sure, otherwise collasp may happen.
