Principle:187. Following others with pleasure and delight, surely something will happen. Thus, Remedying comes after Following.
<Significance of the Gua>
180. Now you've come across a troublesome problem. You can turn the problem into a good result and get attracted the people involved if you handle it carefully and politely. Please don't dread and advance straightforward.
<Significance of the Yao>
First Six:181. You, as a successor of now undertaking the control of difficult work taken over from the senior predecessor, are so able that the senior can be also free from blame. Even if there may be some dangers or the twist and turn, there will be good fortune in the end.
Second Nine:182. It's very difficult for you to cope with the problem in a monotone way which your female superior caused. You often need to take into account for various contradictions and find the solution since anything that goes beyond the middle path will hurt her.
Third Nine:183. You, as a successor of now undertaking the control of difficult work taken over from the senior predecessor, have tendency to deal with the problem too strongly and impetuously. Then, there will remain little regret but no great fault.
Fourth Six:184. You seem to be too weak to remedy the difficult work taken over from the senior predecessor. You seem too generous and if it continues in this way, it will not succeed and bring regret in the end. When applying a remedy one should cure the cause instead of dealing with the symptom.
Fifth Six:185. You've remedied the failure which is taken over from the senior predecessor and will gain the praise. This means that in remedying a difficult situation, you should obtain the support of capable and virtuous subordinate.
Top Nine:186. You demand nothing for a prize as the compensation of your having succeeded to remedy the difficult problem very well. Nor are you ignorant of serving any other superior in the company. This precious and lofty spirit should be the good example for others.
