Principle：067. Needing, scrambling for food, contention is certain to arise. Thus, after Needing, Contention follows.
＜Significance of the Gua＞：
060. Inner or outer conflicts are often seen in the development process of human life. Solving the contention at the midpoint would bring good fortune by seeking common ground, not voicing differences between you and them. Never hold on the contention through to the end, or root of evil would be rather left on the contrary. No good for challenging a big thing, rather listen to a experienced senior.
＜Significance of the Yao＞：
First Six：061. Be sure not to prolong the conflict you face to now. Even if it's a small one, the distinction of good or bad should be seen clearly. Solving the contention decisively at the initial stage will bring you good fortune to the end.
Second Nine：062. It's impossible to contend against a superior one from the self-interest reason. If you keep your own territory, you can escape from the misfortune. Please try to stay away from contentions by returning to yourself.
Third Six：063. Living in old and good morality is important, which will bring good fortune at the end if you are consistent. Do not insist on yourself even if you are involved in a big project.
Fourth Nine：064. Keeping contending does not succeed after all. It will bring good fortune for you to return to the first resolution and change your attitude without losing your steadfastness and correctness.
Fifth Nine：065. Your bearing the qualities of justice, faireness and reasonableness are crucially important dealing with contention. There will be a supreme good fortune.
Top Nine：066. Even winning the contention with skill and obtainning a lot make you happier now, it's worthless in terms of virtue since it's just contending each other in the first place. This cannot last long.
